Just drag an installer package onto the Pacifist icon: you will see a list of all the files in the package, organized by the target installation directory. You can also get detailed information about each file: its permissions, size, and file type.New
Support for Mac OS X 10.7 (“Lion”) and its packages
“Receipt Search” feature lets you search through all receipts to determine what package installed a particular file, and then extract that file if the packages can be found. This functionality alone can be very helpful for previewing installations. But Pacifist's real power is that it lets you verify installations and extract or install any file from within a package. For example, if you recently updated OS X via an installer package, and now you're having problems, open that package in Pacifist and click on the Verify button. Safari Extender is a very cool program that adds great functionality to Safari in the form of a contextual menu item. With Safari Extender you can do things Safari never allowed you to do before, such as Save or Load a Tab Set, Cut and Paste a Tab, even to a different window! Or re-arrange your Tabs by making a Tab be the first one, or make it the last one. You can also compose an email with the current web address in your browser or the text you just selected.
It allows you to print the current page showing the page Title, URL and date or to temporarily turn Images OFF, which helps when you have a lot of browsing to do in a short time. After you found what you need you can then turn graphics back ON easily.
